ARC Raiders Bog Walker Refunds: Who Gets Raider Tokens Back
ARC Raiders update 1.36.0 has one store fix Bog Walker owners should not miss. Embark says it is issuing automatic Raider Token refunds to players who paid extra to unlock the set's new colors, which makes this more than a normal cosmetic note.
The Refund Is Automatic, But It Is Not for Every Bog Walker Owner
The short answer: if you paid additional Raider Tokens for the new Bog Walker color variants, you are the player Embark is talking to. In the official Live Update 1.36.0 notes, Embark says refunds will go out over the next few days and should not require any action from players.
That wording matters. This is not a blanket refund for everyone who owns Bog Walker, and it is not a general store compensation round. It is tied to the missing-color issue and to players who spent extra Raider Tokens because those variants did not unlock the way they were supposed to.
If you own the set but never paid again for Blue Frost or Camo, there may be nothing to refund. The practical thing to check is your Raider Token balance over the next few days before opening a support ticket or buying the same color path again.
Why the Bog Walker Colors Caused Confusion
The issue goes back to the June 30, 2026 store update. Embark added Blue Frost and Camo variants for the Bog Walker Set and said existing owners would receive them automatically in the Store Update 1.35.0 post.
After that, some players started asking why the game appeared to charge Raider Tokens for colors they expected to get with the set. That is why the new refund line is useful: it gives players a cleaner answer than guessing whether the charge was intended, a store pricing change, or a bug.
The safest reading is narrow. Embark fixed the missing variants in update 1.36.0, and players who already paid extra for those colors should get the spent Raider Tokens back automatically.
Update 1.36.0 Is Bigger Than a Cosmetic Fix
The refund detail is easy to miss because update 1.36.0 is much larger. The update includes Expedition 4, Trials Season 5, separate matchmaking behavior for solo, duo, and trio play, a store redesign, and an ARC Raiders x THE FINALS crossover running from July 9 at 3 PM CEST to July 30 at 3 PM CEST.
There are also fixes players will feel in regular matches. Weapons dropped on the ground now show installed mods, ARC Turbine loot has been increased, and several map, quest, UI, and cosmetic problems were cleaned up.
Two known issues are worth separating from the Bog Walker refund story. Embark says some PC players may see lower FPS, while some Xbox players, especially on Series S, are still seeing crashes. Those are not tied to the refund, but they are the practical things to watch after updating.
For Bog Walker owners, the takeaway is simple: do not treat the refund as something you need to claim manually. If you spent extra Raider Tokens on the missing colors, wait for the automated refund window first. If nothing changes after the rollout, then it makes sense to contact support with your account and purchase details.
